Michael Hayne - Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Michael Hayne is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aquamerge, bringing extensive experience leading complex initiatives for major financial institutions and public-sector organizations. His career includes senior-level engagements with the Royal Bank of Canada, where he supported initiatives requiring high standards of governance, discretion, and execution discipline within a highly regulated environment.

In addition to the Royal Bank of Canada, Michael has worked with TD Bank, Scotiabank, and the City of Toronto, contributing to initiatives where strategic clarity, stakeholder alignment, and delivery credibility were critical. Under his leadership, Aquamerge has developed technology-enabled advisory and execution capabilities spanning AI systems, infrastructure modernization, data intelligence, and advanced analytics, with a strong emphasis on governance, disciplined delivery, and long-term value creation.

Hilary Dunn, PMP® - Co-Founder & Program Director

Hilary Dunn is a PMP®-certified program leader with a Master’s degree in Project Management from the Schulich School of Business. Her career spans technology, media, and institutional environments, where she has led and reviewed complex projects requiring structured governance, cross-functional coordination, and disciplined execution.

Her experience includes technical and program leadership roles on projects for organizations such as Nortel Networks (Project Prime) and Canscape, where she served as Head of the Studio overseeing production operations, technical workflows, and delivery teams. At Aquamerge, Hilary oversees program governance, technical project review, milestone planning, and delivery oversight for multi-phase initiatives involving public-sector and institutional partners.
